OUR UNIQUE PROCESS
Although we tend to price projects on a case by case basis, this is a guide to the services and project packages we offer to our clients.
DESIGN
- Backyard Consultation & 3D Design: We meet with you and map out yard dimensions, sunlight angles, lifestyle needs, and features.
- HOA Architectural Review: If you live in a planned community, we'll need for you to submit the plans for HOA approval.
- CAD & Structural Engineering: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) creates the technical blueprints, and engineers certify the pool shell, steel reinforcement, and plumbing to meet Arizona building codes.
- City Permitting: We'll submit all plans to your local municipality for official building permits.
pROCESS
- Pre-Construction Walkthrough & Layout: We'll mark the exact shape, equipment pad, and dig lines on your ground and begin excavation to dig out the pool shell shape and haul away the dirt.
- Installation of Steel Reinforcement (Rebar), Plumbing and Electrical: Our crew will bend and tie a heavy-duty steel rebar grid to form the structural skeleton and shape of the pool and spa. Then, they will trench and run underground PVC pipes for circulation, skimmers, main drains, and water features, alongside electrical conduit, equipment bonding, and wiring to the main panel.
- Municipal Inspections: City inspectors check the steel rebar, plumbing, and electrical bonding before concrete is allowed to be sprayed.
COMPLETION
- Shotcrete Application: A high-pressure hose sprays a thick layer of concrete over the steel frame to form the pool floor and walls, which then requires a curing period (often watered down or left to cure for up to 28 days, depending on the mix).
- Tile & Coping: Stonework, waterline tiles, and pool coping are installed around the top edge of the shell.
- Decking & Hardscapes: Contractors pour concrete or lay down custom pavers (such as travertine, stone, or acrylic-coated concrete) around the pool area.
- Equipment Installation: Pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and sanitizers (like salt-water or chlorine systems) are hooked up at the equipment pad.
